Readers Rides: Facebook fans Part 4

The Facebook fan page just surpassed another milestone, 2000 fans, and to celebrate I've decided to do one more readers rides for 2010. As the fan page grows so does the variety of cars posted in the fan photos gallery. Seeing variety is great because it means that I can continue to post all sorts of cars here without worry of losing the collective interests to to speak. Here's the latest from the fan page.

The M1

I know I am not the only person who likes BMW M1s (I'm talking the original ones not the new concept) because I know for a fact a lot of you like the Countach and thanks to Lamborghini's hand in the design these cars share very similar profiles. In street trim these cars look a little castrated and out of place but that's only because where they were really meant to be was out on the track getting pushed to their limit.

Theme Tuesdays: E30 M3s Part II

Similar to how I did a one two VW MKII and MKI combo a couple months back I've decided to do the same with e30s by following up the second E30 Theme Tuesday with the second E30 M3 Theme Tuesday. When I was looking at the official list of cars for GT5 I was pretty shocked to see that the e30 m3 was not included. Polyphony had better fix that by December 25th when I get my copy of GT5 as this is the only way I'll be driving one. Probably.

The Loud Pedal

On the way home last night from hockey at around 12:30am my new skid plate hit the ground hard which knocked it 80% off and resulted in some road side hockey tape mechanics and a very, very, slow drive home to where I removed it for modification at a later date. As a result I am quire tired today and my brain is a mess so I decided to keep things simple: The loud pedal, press it and things get awesome here are 5 examples.

Theme Tuesdays: E30s Part II

I can't believe I have only done one e30 Theme Tuesday prior to this. As a former owner and current member of a number of BMW/E30 forums this is down right shameful. Not to mention that the the e30 is such a classic and versatile chassis, they look great dumped and kitted on low offset wheels, but also respond great to functional modifications when let loose on the track.

Event Coverage: SEMA Part 7

This is going to be the second last set of coverage and it's pretty substantial, 50 plus photos from the outside of the show so if you are on a phone or a stressed connection give it some time. Imagine the net worth of all the cars on the convention center grounds during the week? That's a lot of money.

Theme Tuesdays: Dat Ass

I swear I did a Theme Tuesday like this before but it turns out I only posted a small collection of car derrieres. It's kind of funny that not even two years in I am already losing track of what I've posted, anyway my poor memory aside today's Theme is the ass end of cars. I tried my best to get only direct back shots but I made a few exceptions in cases I deemed appropriate, hopefully you do as well.

Event Coverage: SEMA Part 5

So I was doing some thinking when working on this post: If each post had a minimum 30 pictures, and this is part 5 then that means that at the end of this post (not including the showstoppers) I will have posted at least 150 pictures from the 2010 SEMA show, damn. I'm not even all that close to being finished, I am however done with the inside of the show after this post (more or less :P)

Theme Tuesdays: Girls With Hot Rides 2

The last girls with Hot Rides Theme Tuesday here was nearly all cars found on various blogs and message boards on the net. This time around in addition to perusing the forums I decided to poll some of my female readers for submissions on facebook and twitter. As it turns out I have quite a few female readers with clean cars ranging from lowered to slammed, and naturally aspirated to boosted.

Event Coverage: SEMA Part 4

Here is another photo overload from SEMA 2010. For those of you who are waiting for photos of the cars that were outside of SEMA rest assured I lots of great coverage from the outside as well that will be making it's way up to the site over the next few days. In the meantime enjoy some more of what was going on inside the halls. After this set I believe I've got one hall left along with some of the adjacent hallways before taking it outside into the Vegas sun.

Event Coverage: SEMA Part 3

I've got another round of coverage from the central hall of SEMA today. Today's post is very picture heavy (50+) so those of you on smart phones consider this your warning. Lot's of variety in today's post so there should be something for everyone, there is also even a little something for Transformers fans...

Event Coverage: Lowballers VIP Meet

Last night, after SEMA, I hit up the Lowballers SEMA VIP meet. I knew I had to make a point to head out to this meet from the first time I saw the ad because the Lowballers do it big and the VIP scene in Toronto is still pretty small still so this meet served as a great opportunity to check out an established VIP scene.
