On Sunday I saw something that made me think I should do another 'Dat Ass' Theme Tuesday post and, foolishly, I didn't save it in the hopes I would remember it when the time came to put the post together. No such luck.

I'm pretty sure not everyone is going to like this car and that's alright because I am almost absolutely positive the owner doesn't care, and I just like to see just what kind of cars I can get away with posting before one of you has me committed (or at the very least disconnects my internet). According to -273 before this car became what it is today it started as some kind of 50s Ford.

Last week in jest I made the following comment when posting that clean Fiesta: "when was the last time you saw a car with hydraulic suspension that didn’t have wires?" After reading that a few people on the fan page urged me to look a little harder into the land of hydraulic (or Hydropneumatic) suspension to broaden my horizons. So I did. While I had guessed a few people outside of the traditional lowrider community were dabbling in the land of juice I was surprised to see how widespread the use of hydraulics is over a variety of platforms.

Last night after sitting down at the computer post a relaxing long weekend I realized that I was at the now familiar point where I have a few Theme Tuesday ideas started (around 6-8 photos) but not too many at, or near enough to, the point of completion. Thankfully I've had this one waiting in my draft status for a bit and six plus months since the last 'Pictures With Attitude' (aka awesome photos) it was time for this draft to grow up and become a real post. Since I was young I've always had an interest in the Lowrider culture, and while it's tough to say who exactly started this stance business I think it's safe to assume that Lowrider guys are some of the true OGs. When I found out this event was taking place minutes from my house deciding whether or not to attend was a no-brainer, especially because for the longest time my only exposure to cars like these was through television and music.

It's been awhile since I've posted something questionable/'too each their own' looking in a WTF Friday post so here is an... interesting truck I came across on s10 forum. I'm fairly sure the owner of this truck would vomit at the cars I normally post here as it is quite obvious the thought patterns of he or she and myself when it comes to car modifications do not come anywhere close to matching up.

One of the hardest things I have ever tried to do is explain to friends and co workers who are not really into cars is why exactly I, and people like me, enjoy seeing a low vehicle leave a trail of sparks in it's wake while traveling at high speed. Of course to a lot of rational people this act is counter productive and downright dangerous and that's probably why I like it. Life is short right?

About a month and a half ago I was spending a lot of time lurking the Kit Central forums digging up a little more info on an article my auto teacher took to Carlisle for his replica Diablo build. While I was there I came across this Trans Am Italia. This kit made the Pontiac Trans Am look less like a Pontiac and more like a Testerossa. I've seen a few kits with this effect (widebody e30, Truxarossa) but never this one. It looks pretty dated now but was probably a head turner in it's day.

Back with the final set of photos from the June 19th Stretch and Poke event (aka 'The Stakes is High'). Today's coverage is quite simply everything I didn't post in part 1. Looking back I wish I shot a little more but as always hindsight is 20/20 and talking with people is easier than taking photos. Not too fussed though I will see these cars again soon and I think the next S&P event at Downsview Park I will raid Lyndsey's lens stash to switch up the look of the photos a little bit.

This first time I came across this 51 Chevy COE it was posted on another stance blog where the writer stated that it was fairly irrelevant to the forms of stance they normally showcase. That statement struck me as odd because to me flush, poke, tuck, drag, lowrider, vip, whatever your suspension alteration poison happens if at the end of it all it's awesome that's all that matters.
