Last night while checking up on a few builds on the Stance Works forums I came across this quote by Mr. Burroughs: Silver, Gold, or polished. Those are the gentleman's wheel color choices.

Reading all of the Long Beach Formula Drift coverage really makes me wish I flew into LAX and went from LA to SF instead of the other way around, but I had free board for a few nights in SF so... Instead of drowning my sorrows in a local San Francisco Morrow Bay pub I pulled together some drifting gifs to make myself feel better.

As a former BMW owner I've hung around BMW message boards for quite some time and seen many a BMW re-imagined as a straight line terror. I've seen 2002 gassers, Isetta Monsters, and plenty of snail fed slick tire equipped e30s, but this e21 I spotted on The Amazo Effect just so happens to be an American milled BMW I've never seen before.

There isn't anything wrong with a simple clean e36, and this is a simple clean e36 I've been meaning to share for awhile. Posted online in January I've found myself looking at these pictures time and time again (thanks to never closing the tab) and admiring the owners taste in modifications.

For long time readers today's car may look a little familiar and that's because it was first posted in July of 2010 alongside an equally stunning white 328i. At that time Bryan had just saved the car from an early death at the hands of a neglectful previous owner and done a little bit of work to it.

With their chunky twist on the classic five spoke the Borbet Type A is a wheel that people love as much as they hate. Personally it took me a long time to warm up to the raised center caps, but after pulling this post together I realized that like everything else it all comes down to sizing and application.

I was reading something the other day about Lil Wayne signing a whole pile of irrelevant rappers, singers, and Limp Bizkit(!?) which for whatever reason triggered a memory of the song 'Throw Some D's' by Rich Boy. That ear worm reminded me of this story from a few years ago about an e36 driver that ended up with a wire wheel embedded in his windshield.

Today's Theme Tuesday originally started off as a follow up to the Tripoding Theme Tuesday from September of 2010 but then progressed into one that had cars with varying amounts of wheels on the ground. Most of these are caused by a stiff suspension, steep angles, speed, or a combination of all three but a couple juice induced.

Following up a post like the one I made on Friday with a car that wasn't straight, to the point, and uber clean just wouldn't be right so here are some new(er) photos of an e30 I first posted April of 2011. Not much has changed since then but honestly nothing really needs to.

Not restricting this weeks post to one brand or model like the recent few instead just continuing the 'Pictures with attitude' (should just change it to awesome pictures) theme for another Tuesday. It is almost hard to believe that I have done six of these so far... eventually I am going to have to think of something different to do for the tenth.

For the third e30 Theme Tuesday installment I hooked up with fellow maxbimmer member Steve (Bullet Ride) who in addition to owning an e30 runs a tumblr called God's Chariot that I happen to follow. God's Chariot, in Steve's opinion, just happens to be the e30.

Certainly going really heavy on the bagged cars this week, not 100% intentional, but how could you not like an e30 as beautiful as this? The recipe for success in this case is a clean late model, Gotti wheels in specs that suit the car to a tee, a dash of stretch, and a healthy serving of low.
