WTF Friday: So you like burnouts?

6
The first video I in today's post I saw Monday and thought to myself damn that was pretty awesome wonder why it took someone so long to do it. Then, a few days later my friend Marc sent me the second video which was more surprisingly more ridiculous than the first. I am a big fan of vehicle on vehicle burnouts, environmentalists and the local authorities might not be but I think I have made enemies out of them long ago.

WTF Friday: Fun for the whole family

4
For those of you who are, or already have, started a family and are looking for a fun way to get the tribe involved in something automotive based then you might want to take some cues from this wrench holding handy man as he's obviously has it all figured out. First you need two Dodge Caravan's, one running and one for parts, then you need a truck frame to put everything onto and once that's done gather the kids for the camouflage paint job. When it dries stand back and admire what you've created.

WTF Friday: So it does move

The latest copy of Performance Auto & Sound showed up to my house this week and inside they had an article on the 20HZ 300C that I have seen at a variety of car shows over the past two years. The car is easily one of the most over the top show cars in the greater Toronto area. Even if the final result isn't to your tastes you can't really deny the man hours that have gone into this. I mean the roof is crazy and it no longer has a steering wheel...

Damn Son

I'm pretty sure this Datsun 510 hunted me down and found me because I wasn't even on a content hunt when I found it. I was just minding my own business, on my laptop, one lazy Sunday afternoon when it leapt of the screen at me. Even though I wasn't looking for it I am glad I found it as it's jumped to upper rankings of my favorite 510s ever built list. SR20 powered, on Works, clean body, and a drive height that looks good and allows it to be driven hard and stay clean? Yeah, I'm a fan.

Top Content of 2010

Welcome to 2011 everyone! I hope this year is better than the last for all of you and for those of you that rang in the year with firewater I wish you a speedy recovery from the grips of a hangover. Like last year I'm watching the 2010 Scottsdale Barrett Jackson Auction re air on Speed TV and looking over my Google Analytics stats to see how things went in 2010.

Well, once again I would like to thank everyone who entered for another successful contest. I was able to draw out a few of you lurkers as well as find new blogs to put into my own personal reader. The three winners from the December give away are: Brent, Jen, and Ken. Check your in box for an email from myself regarding shipping. If you didn't win this time don't worry this won't be the last time SecheMedia.ca and I are hoping to do bi-monthly and eventually monthly giveaways, now onto the WTF! (Guessing contest inside)

The Loud Pedal

On the way home last night from hockey at around 12:30am my new skid plate hit the ground hard which knocked it 80% off and resulted in some road side hockey tape mechanics and a very, very, slow drive home to where I removed it for modification at a later date. As a result I am quire tired today and my brain is a mess so I decided to keep things simple: The loud pedal, press it and things get awesome here are 5 examples.

SEMA Showstopper: Gold Mines

6
The last two cars I will be posting as Showstoppers from the 2010 SEMA show are cars that I had to revisit a number of times in order to get clear photos due to the fact that each had sizable crowds gawking virtually any time I passed by. Both of these cars lie somewhere between show and street-able in the sense that the owners probably drive both of them quite a bit but wouldn't dare risk daily driving as getting into a fender bender with one of these would be a travesty.

WTF Friday: The Engine, it fell out

3
Have you ever had a conversation with someone who doesn't know a lot about cars and they might say something like "If I don't take my car to the dealer the motor may fall out" or "the mechanic said my motor was dropping out". I'm paraphrasing of course but I have had some really weird conversations with people who treat cars like appliances, anyway, it never really occurred to me that if you hit something hard enough your motor may just indeed fall out.

WTF Friday: The Transporter

5
The Pontiac Transport has to be one of the few vehicles that is damn near 'unstanceable' it looks like a giant cheese wedge covered with gaudy plastic body cladding. However as we know that will never stop a few people from trying to come up with something, as seen inside. The winners of the S.I.E/Shell V Power 'You've got gas' contest will be revealed in the site updates section of today's WTF Friday so if that's why you are here then click through and scroll down.
