Fat and Flush: and another one

Another entry in the 'low s2000s with wide tires and Enkei wheels', aka Fat And Flush, category. s2000 owners just seem to gravitate towards Enkei wheels, be it the RPF-1 or the NT-01 which is the wheel of choice today. Like the RPF-1 the NT-01 is strong, relatively light, relatively inexpensive, and looks quite great 9" and wider.

Event Coverage: Mega Speed Part 4

I'll be concluding the 2012 Mega Speed coverage today with photos of the Imports, Euros, and Exotics along with a few of the exhibitors booths that were in the back hall of the International center. This post is a little tail heavy clocking in at about 50 or so photos so if you are on your phone maybe save this for when you can grab some wifi.

Theme Tuesdays: Borbet Type A Appreciation

With their chunky twist on the classic five spoke the Borbet Type A is a wheel that people love as much as they hate. Personally it took me a long time to warm up to the raised center caps, but after pulling this post together I realized that like everything else it all comes down to sizing and application.

This’ll wake you up

On a typical workday, the alarm on my phone tortures me to wake up at 7:30am, 8:00am, 8:15am, 8:30am, 8:45am, and 9:00am. That's right. I'm so terrible at waking up I need six separate alarms. Then, one day last week I woke up naturally before my alarms. Barely awake, and struggling to see anything, I roll over to check the time on my phone and notice I have e-mail from Hoda, our favourite reader from Japan.

Theme Tuesdays: Four On The Floor?

Today's Theme Tuesday originally started off as a follow up to the Tripoding Theme Tuesday from September of 2010 but then progressed into one that had cars with varying amounts of wheels on the ground. Most of these are caused by a stiff suspension, steep angles, speed, or a combination of all three but a couple juice induced.

Fat and Flush: Silver Sleigh

Enkei should just sponsor the Fat And Flush section of this blog because their RPF-1 wheel is now making it's fourth appearance in this now nine post category. Yes nearly 50% of this entire category is made up of cars on RPF-1 wheels, crazy.

Girls Can Two

The second of today's female rides belongs to Heather and was shot by previous featured photographer Nathan Powers. Like Bri's Jetta Heather's Civic is free of all the typical female modification cliches so it stands out without screaming 'I'm a girl'.

Featured Ride: Andrew’s 1991 CRX

Imagine for a second what it would be like to live in a place where all aftermarket parts come from abroad and wind up costing up to 20% more than the list price before the shipping service takes their cut. Then imagine that the roads you travel are more often than not in such a state of disrepair that even stock height vehicles have trouble getting from point A to point B without being ravaged by potholes large enough to fit a ZAZ 965.

Theme Tuedays: Acura NSX

Sometimes I spend so much time looking for different and obscure cars to do Theme Tuesdays on that I forget about the classics. That is the only somewhat sane justification I can give for taking so long to do a Tuesday post on the Acura NSX.

Level One Keeps Busy

Remember Level One? The Toronto group who's video spread like wild fire late 2011? Well they have already started making moves for 2012 with James releasing a few photos of his s2000's latest look. True to Level One form the car looks great.

Guest Coverage: Fitted Fes 1

Late in 2011 I got a fairly larger order from a Takafumi Ebata, a Stance Is Everything reader from Japan. The first time I sent out the order I misread it and as a result a few things were missing, so to make amends I resent the entire order along with some freebies from the mystery box. Fast forward a few weeks and Takafumi showed his appreciation by sending through some photos from Fitted Fes 1 which took place January 22nd in Nagashima Japan.

Theme Tuesdays: CRXs

I am a little puzzled as to how I could have seriously gone so long without doing CRX Theme Tuesday considering I have already done Accords, Wagonvans, and Preludes. Seems like it would have been an obvious choice considering a friend of mine had a sick green one for awhile, must have just slipped my mind. Until today of course.
